As we write this, the temperature is nearing 60, the local weather forecaster is talking about snow coming and we are aware of a possible storm sweeping down from Wisconsin. Waiting!
The storm went south so at least we did not get more rain. Currently, we are under a winter storm watch with snow predicted. The base is here and we need some fresh snow to soften it up… So closed today. We will repost later this afternoon.
Wait till Friday…
The good news is we still have snow. Along the road at the bottom of the hill below the lodge, it is bare. In the past, we have had people driving form Pittsburgh without seeing a snowflake.
