Six to eight inches of fresh snow with more coming! All this over our firm, well packed base…

We have snow but are closed today. Seeing that you will not be skiing,  we will use some space to start a brief history of Wilderness Lodge…to be added in sections as we find time.

Great Ski Day

Yesterday, We worked all the primary trails hard and broke open virtually all the others.  A fresh topping of about two inches is just waiting for us to add the finishing touch.  Come Ski!

Evening 

In addition to the three inches of snow overnight, we received lake effect snow showers more on than off all day.  Three sleds were moving constantly  so we managed to get the Lodge side in good shape including some afternoon tracks. Old news

Nick called in to say that things were better than he expected. There is a wash out at the bottom of the field. One area near the main trail is still wet. The other trails are grooming well and will be viable.  We are only working lodge side now.

Guys are going out now

We waited for the temperature to get below 32. They are going out to break the top surface and do some leveling.  When they return, we will post again.
