We went snowshoeing for a couple miles this afternoon. We also spoke to some of our skiers. Here is what we found. There was some sun today which helped. Yesterday was a fun day for me at Wilderness. Ryan had guests at the Lodge and it was good seeing the lights on and activity inside last night. It will be a Happy New Year. The rain yesterday turned to snow overnight so we are still open.  We will be out soon to pack and set things up… Any updates may be found later at 814-739-2946.

Yesterday was another good day of skiing with set track, wide skate lanes and happy people. The additional fresh snow was very helpful. Today will start with more of the same and we are expecting a few snow showers as things change.
