This coming Saturday …Torch Ski at Wilderness Lodge
At dusk we will be out lighting the torches for the annual night tour. Ski our beautiful woods glowing in the warm flickering light. Enjoy the warmth of the Lodge fireplace. The restaurant will be open and ski and snowshoe rentals are available. Come Ski.

We are out blending the surface which will create wonderful results. The Quad Ski 7.5 km Race Is at 10;00, to be followed by a 3 k. Fun snowshoe. Our ski courses is well marked and set for skating and classic. Day of registration will open soon. Ski conditions remain very good. Friday we should see a couple of fresh inches of snow which will cap off excellent skiing this weekend. We are someplace North of 20 inches from this storm. The Lodge side was packed tight yesterday with a couple new overnight. The East side was 80% rolled and we will be working both sides again today. Yesterday, it rained then turn to snow and we had 6+ by dusk. The lodge side set up well and we got the peak trail started…long way to go. Overnight, another 4-6 inches fell with drifting in some areas, so we start over with three sleds out. Warm today rain later turning to ice. Storm tomorrow!
We will be out THURSDAY rolling and packing. Snow is to continue into Friday with 12-16 inches predicted. The lodge side trails will start to set up FRIDAY. We will move across the road Saturday at the earliest. We will continue to post as things move along.
