Not much to say…lots of snow…guys out grooming…leveling wide skate lanes, setting track…beautiful evergreens hanging white…quite places with singing streams…warming fireplace…good food…good drinks…and good people visiting.

Plus 3 inches of beautiful snow overnight Sunday.
We woke up to enough white that you could not tell that it was all groomed the day before. That’s a good thing. The guys will hit it hard Tuesday. Should pack well…very wet snow. Forecast is 1-3 Tuesday and 3-6 Wednesday. Looking pretty good!

Rolling, Rolling, Rolling… both sides Lodge Side was packed early then we moved across the road….tearing out the track next and be resetting… Getting good heavy wet snow which will set up nice after it settles. It’s a good day at Wilderness.
Starting to snow now!
1-3 tonight with winds which will only make to snow farm better. This was a wonderful day of skiing. Talked on one person from Cleveland that had 21 miles in by mid afternoon. No Race Sunday. We are open!!
The wind and 40 degree temps have eroded the field. While we could pull something off and snow is forecast before the event, the decision was made to push back to the alternate date, Sunday, Feb. 25th. We are open and the weekend will have good skiing.
Got more snow
Couple more last night and a few more coming overnight. Our forecast…an inch here and another there …but the skiing today was very good and it look like this trend will continue.

Just spoke to the guys who have been out rolling all day. This was a very light snow and it is cold so very hard to pack.
