The National Weather Service from Buffalo is predicting a turn into winter late Tuesday with Lake Effect Snow to follow. If we can get a freeze followed by a real storm, there could be skiing at Wilderness this weekend. In other news, we are planning to have the torch-lite skiing on Friday nights. Ready…Set….

December 9. Not enough snow to groom.
We are white but the ground is still warm. The Lodge could use a good deep freeze then more snow. It is still early so we are hoping for the best.

Wilderness Lodge is not open during deer season. With early snow, ski condition could be excellent-groomed wide and fast. Been a Good Season!!
Starting the middle of December till now, with the exception of one week, we have been skiing. This is not to say that we have no snow, but today is a major rain storm with 48 degree temps. Good weekend ahead
Trails are groomed and conditions are fast. Our skaters are very happy. Lots of track set. All trails open. Pictures from today and yes we do get to ski once in a while. Saturday morning on the trail.
