Open Nov 18th! Grooming starts at 9am Saturday

Mother Nature has given us quite the dumping this week and our turn to open came much earlier than planned. The guys were out packing and rolling earlier in the week to set up a workable base and will be out grooming again in the morning. The overnight forecast is an additional 5-10 inches.

A large part of our trail network across the road is property our neighbors graciously allow us to use. It’s archery season right now and many of our neighbors will be out on their land. For both your safety and to respect their usage of their property, the Peak Trail and East Side trail network are completely closed.

On the lodge side, we’ll have several miles of trails open both Saturday and Sunday. This early in the season, there are still a handful of wet areas and we are avoiding grooming those for now. Thanks to the work we did earlier in the week, combined with this fresh round of snow, the trails we do have open should be in great shape. Grooming will start around 9. Since we’re working with a fresh base and it’ll take some time to set up, we recommend that our skaters wait until about 11am to get on the snow. It should be a great weekend and, with any luck, a foreshadowing of the season to come.

Come ski; tell your friends; enjoy this early season surprise!

PS. Don’t forget to get your season pass orders in before the 30th. You can purchase on our site, by mail, or by dropping by the ticket booth this weekend.
