Yesterday the Wilderness Wildcats, our youth ski program, had their first day of fun on the snow. This program, lead by Ned Reade and supported by a group of volunteers, has over 40 kids enrolled this year to learn the life time benefits of cross country skiing. It is a wonderful addition to our facility.
Today, like yesterday, we did not groom and left the inch of fresh snow of Friday night night to be skied in. All trails are open. Wet spots have disappeared. The temps will rise to the mid 20’s and it will be another good day to ski at Wilderness Lodge.
We are looking forward to the storm which is coming tonight and may leave 12-24 inches of fresh snow. This will enable us to create a superior skiing surface looking forward into next week.
Come ski!
