We wanted to
create a place that people wanted to come
back to. And over the years, this has come
true. We continue to welcome friends who
walk into the lodge, make themselves at home
and settle in like they had never left

We believe the
comfort of the lodge and the beauty of our woods
create a charm that is unmatched anywhere.
We are happy to
share it with you. |

As
a Rustic County Inn made of broad hand hewn beams and
granite, the lodge accommodates up to 40 guests in
double, triple and quad rooms. Most have their own bath.
We are normally booked a
year in advance for the winter weekends and cater to
groups who take all the rooms. You may wish to call
Fridays to see if we have any available openings.
For the solitude and
peace of our guests, we offer no phone or TV in the
rooms. There is no smoking permitted in the Lodge.
Our kitchen staff are
all neighbors and friends who bring classic country
cooking and local recipes for wonderful lunches and
breakfast. Ask about our "Mad Scrambles" or try a lunch
with homemade Chili and a big piece of Chocolate cake.
Saturday night dinner is by reservation only and must be booked in
advance.
The Lodge is fully
licensed. "Last Call" is normally around 11 PM or thereabouts
Friday and Saturday nights. Friday
night the grill is open with soups and sandwiches until
11pm. Come and have a drink by a warm fire.
Come
and visit us at Wilderness Lodge for
the experience of a lifetime...OK, the experience of a
winter.
