What a weekend! We went from “bring your beaters” to “we are skating…” in the matter of hours.
We were lucky and had people coming from all over just to get out on the snow.

On Sunday, one of our informal gang of regulars came to the front desk and shared some very personal information with me. He spoke about a cross country ski trip out west to one of the major ski areas. The skiing was great but the place lacked something. Then he added, “I love this place.”

We love this place. There are sections of woods where, if you stop for a moment, you can hear the Peace. As a contrast, one active gentleman had gone yo-yo-ing up and down Exclamation Point, till he got to the point where he had had enough of the wall.

We love this place and especially love it when people make their own memories here.
